Session Summary:
Another terrific session with Sam this week! I really admire what Sam brought to his session today, after his big day yesterday at the wrestling tournament (congrats on your win, Sam!). As tired as he was (he was getting me yawning!), he brought his usual A game to the session. We concentrated on third-declension nouns and noun-adjective agreement. Two recurrent problems for Sam in these exercises came to light: 1) Sam needs to be more careful to follow the directions of each exercise; and 2) of the three characteristics of Latin nouns and adjectives--number, gender, and case--Sam repeatedly mis-translates the number. As usual, I'm proud of Sam: he worked hard, well, and with a real eagerness to learn and to master the material. Great job, Sam!
