Session Summary:
Ryan and I had a TERRIFIC session this afternoon. The grammar points we covered were: the completion of our discussion of third- and third-io-conjugation verbs in the present; and the start of our discussion of nouns, specifically nouns of the first declension. Ryan was really interested tonight, though, in matters of Roman culture and history and how those were reflected in their language, so we spent a good portion of the session discussing matters such as those. It's clear Ryan has a rich and thirsty curiosity, to go with his sharp, intelligent mind—a great combination. Next week we will continue our coverage of nouns and six cases which govern their functions in any given Latin sentence. GREAT job tonight, Ryan!
