Session Summary: Jareb and I had a terrific tutoring session, truly outstanding. We discussed showing, not telling and how he tends in the current state of his storytelling to do much more of the latter and not nearly enough of the former. We discussed how to get the most bang for his buck out of his words and out of his narrative, so that his writing is lean and economical while always serving the story and the characters and always ratcheting up our caring and concern about the characters, which is what keeps the reader turning the page. We finished the session with setting reachable goals for our next session. Great job, Jareb!!
