Session Summary:
Wow, did Erik do a TERRIFIC job tonight! We continued our translation of the passage "The Belt of Pallas" and Erik actually caught me in a couple of instances of my having erroneously divided the clauses up in a couple of the sentences incorrectly. I was VERY proud of him, having caught those. Erik continues to impress me with his *strong* command of Latin grammar. His command of English grammar is not as strong, but it has been my impression students are not taught the grammar of their own language. This lack of instruction in such continues to pose a problem for me as I use the language of the study of language in my instruction of Latin. Erik perseveres, though, which is a fine quality for which I admire him. Thanks so much, Erik, for your good, hard, and diligent work this evening.
