Session Summary:
August and I had a TERRIFIC first session. It is going to be a pleasure to tap into August's interest and fascination in Latin to guide him through his continued exploration of this wonderful language. It is such a breath of fresh air to teach Latin to a person who is learning the language for the simple sake of learning it. Today's session was pretty much a review session of the "engine" that drives the Latin language, namely stems and endings, and how Latin expresses that engine in the form of the five characteristics of verbs and the three characteristics of nouns. August thought hard and took lots of notes. It is my impression he enjoyed the session as much as I did. Thanks, August!
