You are what you repeatedly do. Excellence is not an event—it is a habit. Aristotle, 384-322 BC
Session Summary
Monday, March 28, 2016
11:30am to 12:30pm EDT
Topics covered:
Ashley did absolutely superbly today! Wow, is she sharp. After some conversation by which I got to know her better, we launched into our study of the French language by discussing some aspects of the French language which are specific to it and different from English: the pronunciation of its alphabet, the idea that words have grammatical gender, and how the French use a host of accents to write their language and how we can use Alt codes to recreate those accents, without which the French word is considered misspelled. We then launched into the explanation/exercise set concerning the definite article (equivalent to the English "the"). Great job today, Ashley! I look forward to Friday's session.
